The annual summer Egyptian Workshops for kids are held in two sessions: 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 23-24; and 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 25-26 at the Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art (RAFFMA) on the Cal State campus, 5500 University Parkway.
Cost is $40 per student for a two-day session. The price includes materials, lunch and drinks for both days.
Workshops are open to students from throughout San Bernardino County.
Activities include exploration of ancient Egyptian art, culture and history through mock archeological digs, a museum scavenger hunt, recreation of an Egyptian tomb, and making mummy masks and clay beads from authentic ancient Egyptian molds.
