A man suspected in a sexual assault Monday night at a Bradley residence was captured after a search aided by helicopter, sheriff's deputies said.
Deputies said they received a report of an assault in progress shortly after 9 p.m.
When officers got to the residence, the male suspect had left.
Deputies set up a perimeter and received help from California Highway Patrol officers, Fort Hunter Liggett police and a CHP helicopter.
Jason States, 34, of Bradley was taken into custody and booked into the Monterey County Jail, deputies said.
The investigation is continuing, they said.
