SAN BERNARDINO - Renzenberger, Inc. a company that provides transportation services to railroad crews, held a ceremony today to announce its purchase of propane-fueled vans.

The event took place at BNSF Railway's intermodal yard in western San Bernardino. Renzenberger has purchased 10 Ford E-350 vans that another company, Roush CleanTech, has modified with a propane autogas system.

The vans will be used for railroad crews traveling to and from San Bernardino and other places in Southern California.

Propane-fueled vehicles can have longer engine life and produce fewer emissions than gasoline-powered vehicles, according to the Energy Department.
