| Space shuttle Endeavour ready for final journey across Los Angeles

Los Angeles and Inglewood police are advising the public about these major street closures for the space shuttle Endeavour's move from LAX to the California Science Center. The closures start late today and continue into Friday and Saturday:

Los Angeles

8:30 p.m. today to 5 a.m. Friday: Lincoln Boulevard from Sepulveda Boulevard to Manchester Avenue.

10 p.m. today to 6 a.m. Friday: Northside Parkway from Westchester Parkway to Lincoln Boulevard; Westchester Parkway from Lincoln Boulevard to La Tijera Boulevard; La Tijera Boulevard from Westchester Parkway to Sepulveda Boulevard;

10 p.m. today to 5 p.m. Friday: Sepulveda Eastway from Westchester Parkway to 87th Street.

4 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, La Tijera Boulevard from Sepulveda Boulevard to Manchester Avenue.

Noon to 5 p.m. Friday, Manchester Avenue from Sepulveda Boulevard to Aviation Boulevard.

8 p.m. Friday to 8 p.m. Saturday, Crenshaw Boulevard from Vernon Avenue to 39th Street; Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard from Marlton Avenue to Fourth Avenue.

10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Crenshaw Boulevard from 79th Street to Vernon Avenue.

4-10 p.m. Saturday, Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard from Fourth Avenue to Figueroa Street; Bill Robertson Lane from Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to Exposition Park.
