The shuttle was at Martin Luther King and Crenshaw boulevards just before 10 p.m. and at that time was more than five hours behind schedule, fire department batallion Chief Carlos Calvillo said.
The Endeavour is not expected to reach its new home at the California Science Center in Exposition Park until at least 1 a.m.
