Adam Diaz was taken into custody Friday and booked into San Francisco County Jail on suspicion of vandalism and damaging a transit vehicle, Officer Carlos Manfredi said. Both offenses are felonies, he said.
Diaz, 24, of Oakland, was captured on video using a skateboard to smash the side windows of a bus, police said.
Diaz was in jail Saturday and could not be reached for comment. It was not immediately clear whether he had a lawyer.
Two others have been arrested in the case.
Gregory Graniss, 22, of San Francisco, and Nicholas Hudson, 19, of Daly City, are both suspected of damaging the bus Oct. 29 after the Giants victory over the Detroit Tigers in the World Series.
Besides the destruction of the bus that night, reports to police included several trash can fires, a flipped vehicle and shattered windows at several businesses.
Graniss was arrested after a photo was published showing him using a barricade to smash the front windows of the bus, police said.
Graniss and Hudson have both pleaded not guilty. Police are looking for more suspects.
The $700,000 bus was destroyed when the vehicle was set on fire.
