A man was shot and killed Sunday night in San Fernando, the small city's second homicide of the year.
No arrests have been made in the shooting, which happened about 10:30 p.m. in the 300 block of North Hagar Street, sheriff's Sgt. Ed Hummel said.
Two men apparently argued in an alley near businesses and had a "minor physical confrontation" before one pulled out a gun and fired, San Fernando police Lt. Tony Vairo said.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His family was still being notified Monday afternoon, and detectives hadn't released his name.
Vairo said it did not appear the two men knew each other before the argument. The shooter was seen leaving in a small white four-door Ford sedan, possibly a Focus or a Fiesta, he said.
