The church at 9134 Mango Ave. holds a "Vision of Hope" food and clothing distribution from 10 a.m. to noon on the third Saturday of every month.
Mary Hernandez of San Bernardino was given a donation during the event.
"It was great what the church is doing for the community," she said.
Church officials advertise their distributions throughout the region hoping to get the word out to as many people in need as they can.
"That's what we're called to do. We're reaching out to people a little less fortunate," said Matthew Tringali, ministry assistant leader.
The church began holding its distribution events about five months ago.
It started out serving about 50 families and now is prepared to provide for 100.
As the holidays approach, Tringali expects more people to arrive at the distributions.
"Well, just because it's the holidays people are short on cash," he said, "and also we try to do a little extra around the holidays as far as giving out shoes and jackets on top of it."
