STOCKTON, Calif.—Stockton police are searching for a 22-year-old gang member suspected in a fatal shooting over the weekend.

The Stockton Record ( reports that an arrest warrant was issued Monday for 22-year-old Lunny Onesavanh.

Police believe Onesavanh was one of three young men who approached and opened fire on three people around 4 a.m. Sunday, killing a 35-year-old man. The other victims, ages 18 and 35, were critically wounded and taken to local hospitals with multiple gunshot wounds.

Stockton has reported 65 homicides so far this year, up 58 last year. Around 10 p.m. Saturday, two males in black hooded sweatshirts killed a store clerk.

Police say Onesavanh is a documented gang member who is considered armed and dangerous.
