An Ann Arbor man allegedly broke into a home and was found snoring in a bedroom closet on Thanksgiving day.

The 36-year-old man reportedly made himself comfortable in a Catherine Street home and looked through the fridge's freezer, forgetting to close it, as well as rifling through bedrooms before taking his nap.

The home's residents, who were gone for about three hours, found their doors unlocked and clothing scattered around their bedrooms with the dresser drawers open. There was also a pile of property that didn't belong to them in the living room.

Police found a window off the fire escape had been damaged before they heard the man snoring.

The suspect was arrested and transported to the county jail.
