YORK, Neb.—A 38-year-old Los Angeles man has been given 200 days in jail after pleading guilty to felony marijuana possession in York County.

The York News-Times says ( http://bit.ly/USu1Ou) Troy Walker was sentenced on Monday and given credit for 180 days already served. Walker isn't a U.S. citizen, so he faces deportation after he leaves jail.

Authorities say Walker and his wife were arrested Aug. 11 after their California rental car didn't signal as it left Interstate 80 before reaching a Nebraska State Patrol checkpoint.

Troopers say they found two bales of marijuana in the car and also noticed the Walkers' two children were not in car seats.

Twenty-five-year-old Electra Walker also faces charges of drug possession and negligent child abuse. She's pleaded not guilty and is scheduled for trial in March.
