IMPERIAL BEACH, Calif.—A park has been dedicated to the memory of two San Diego County boys who were kidnapped and killed nearly two decades ago.

U-T San Diego ( http://bit.ly/SnvGfQ) says the Jonathan Sellers & Charlie Keever Outdoor Educational Activity Center was dedicated Monday in Imperial Beach.

The center cost $175,000 to build last spring. Its floor includes small pictures of the boys.

Nine-year-old Jonathan and 13-year-old Charlie were biking home in 1993 when they were abducted about a mile from the park. Their bodies were found two days later.

Eight years later, DNA tests linked the killings to Scott Erskine, who was sentenced to death.
