The San Jose Mercury News ( http://bit.ly/TuxEuI) reports that Adonis Muldrow did not enter a plea during a brief court appearance Wednesday, where he was arraigned on murder with special circumstances, attempted murder of a peace officer and other charges.
Muldrow's alleged accomplice, 26-year-old Jonathan Wilbanks, is facing similar charges. He is being held without bail after his arraignment last week. He has not entered a plea.
Authorities say on the night of Nov. 16 Muldrow and Wilbanks conducted four armed robberies, fatally shot a 22-year-old man and wounded a San Jose officer during a gunfight with police.
Both suspects are due back in court on Dec. 5.
