LOS ANGELES - Betty White is putting herself on the auction block.
Fans of the television icon best known for her work on ``The Mary Tyler Moore Show,'' ``The Golden Girls'' and most recently ``Hot in Cleveland'' can bid for a ``date'' with the 90-year-old actress, with proceeds benefiting the local chapter of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, the organization announced today.
The winning bidder in the online auction will be able to bring three guests to a dinner with White -- a longtime animal-rights supporter -- at one of her favorite Los Angeles restaurants, according to spcaLA.
The auction begins Monday and will be conducted through spcaLA's eBay page. A link is available at www.spcaLA.com.
