Former President Bill Clinton stuck to his healthy diet during a lunch stop in downtown Palo Alto on Wednesday.

Clinton, who used to snack on Big Macs during morning jogs in his first term, ate at LYFE Kitchen on Hamilton Avenue with the restaurant's executives.

The restaurant's nutritious foods menu includes items such as chocolate budino, chicken, grilled pineapple sandwiches and grilled barramundi.

Dozens of people packed the restaurant as Clinton posed for photos and shook hands with patrons. The former president was scheduled to speak at the Flint Center at De Anza College in Cupertino later Wednesday night.
