Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center welcomed several of the babies with the very special birthday into the world, including Ontario's Cesar Andres Torres.
Cesar was born at 4:20 a.m. Wednesday. He weighed seven pounds and three ounces and was 19.5 inches long.
"He arrived a little early," Cesar's mother Maria Torres said.
Cesar wasn't expected until early next week.
"He's a special baby," Torres said.
According to www.celebrate121212.org, 12-12-12 was the World Day of InterConnectedness and provides an opportunity to "celebrate the simple yet transformative understanding that we are all interconnected in the living system called Planet Earth."
The day is considered lucky because the digits add up to three and that, some say, is a lucky number.
