SAN JOSE -- A homeless woman who was found dead in a creek bed near the HP Pavilion on Dec. 12 has been identified as Luvimin Regio, 45.
The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner's Office identified Regio on Monday, and said she has no listed address. The cause of her death is still not known, and police are waiting for toxicology results before moving forward with a homicide investigation.
Officers were called to the area of San Fernando Street and Gifford Avenue, a few blocks from the indoor arena commonly called the Shark Tank, shortly after 3 p.m. on reports of an unconscious woman. The woman was located and officers determined that she was deceased, police said.
