A Greenfield couple was arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs and stolen property Monday morning after the man was pulled over for a traffic stop, police reported.

Police said a large, straight-edged knife matching the description of one stolen in a burglary was found in the car, police said, and the driver, Eric Anthony Lujan, 23, was taken into custody shortly before 11 a.m.

His home in the 100 block of 4th Street was then searched, police said, and a stolen .357-caliber revolver, a flat-screen television set, coins, jewelry, two other knives and DVD players and car stereos were found, along with methamphetamine and marijuana.

Michelle Vieira, who was in the house, was also arrested, according to police, and both were booked into county jail.
