The program allows children and their loved-ones to participate in an informal singing, chanting, moving, listening, and instrument playing activities.
The Music Together philosophy is based on the belief that all children are musical, according to a news release.
"This program allows children from a young age to experience music," said Joss Cano, musical director-conductor.
Children as young as four-weeks old are welcome.
"Parents can come in with their baby and we do a lullaby and waltz and you can see how the child is stimulated," Cano said.
Last week Cano held free demonstrations in Chino, Monrovia and Rancho Cucamonga.
Those interested in taking the 10-week class can register now.
Music Together classes will begin at 9:30 a.m. Jan. 2 at the Dellos Dance Connection, 14830 Central Ave., Chino.
Each program includes a song book two cd's, a parent study guide, a parent education workshop and a newsletter.
Cost: $150 before Dec. 26 or $170 after.
Originally offered to the public in 1987, it pioneered the concept of a research-based, developmentally appropriate early childhood music curriculum that strongly emphasizes and facilitates adult involvement. Music Together is now offered in more than 2,000 communities in over 25 countries around the world.
