LONG BEACH - Two men were hospitalized Wednesday morning following a Christmas shooting on a Long Beach street, a police sergeant said. | » POLICE NEWS

The shooting was reported at about 9 p.m. Tuesday at 10th Street and Gardenia Avenue, said Long Beach police Sgt. Aaron Eaton.

A press photographer at the scene described the men as in their early 20s and said one had critical wounds while one had a leg wound.

"Both were taken to local hospitals and are being treated for non-life- threatening injuries," Eaton said.

"At this point officers are unsure if the crime was gang related," he said.
