MONTCLAIR -- A fire damaged a Montclair auto repair shop Monday.

More than 30 firefighters came to the business in the 4100 block of Mission Boulevard shortly after 7 p.m. Flames ripped through the shop, nearly causing the roof to collapse, said Montclair fire Capt. Roger Mora.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze about an hour later.

There were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation. The estimated damage to the business was also unknown.
