City Attorney Carmen Trutanich's office announced the dismissal of Giovanni Ramirez' lawsuit against Los Angeles and police chief Charlie Beck on Monday.
Ramirez also alleged his rights to due process were violated after he was arrested but never charged in the brutal beating of Bryan Stow.
At the time of his arrest, Ramirez's lawyer insisted his client had never been to Dodger Stadium, but police maintained he was the right suspect for months.
Two men were later arrested.
Stow, a paramedic from Northern California, suffered brain damage from the beating and is permanently disabled.
