Google is set today to provide the Mountain View City Council with an update and overview of its plans for the North Bayshore area.
The Internet search giant is the city's biggest employer and the major property owner in the North Bayshore area.
The presentation is expected to cover Google's overall development objectives, particularly as they relate to sustainability, transportation and the environment, according to a memo from Ellis Burns, the city's assistant community development director/economic development manager, and Randal Tsuda, the city's community development director.
Google also plans to discuss and describe its Bayview project.
The Mountain View City Council meeting is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall, 500 Castro St. The Google presentation is the first item on the agenda.
