LONG BEACH - A big rig overturned on a Long Beach (710) Freeway offramp in Long Beach this morning, injuring the driver and closing down the offramp, according to the California Highway Patrol. | CHECK ALTERNATE ROUTES

The single-vehicle crash was reported around 12:40 a.m. on the westbound Anaheim Street offramp from the southbound 710, according to CHP Officer Monica Posada.

The driver suffered a possible head injury and was taken to a hospital, but his condition was not immediately available, she said.

The off-ramp, which was closed as the big rig's cargo was offloaded, was reopened by 5:40 a.m., according to the CHP.
