San Bernardino's checkpoint will be in the southwest area of the city from 6 p.m. until 2 a.m., police said.
In Rialto, officers plan to set up their checkpoint from 8 p.m. until 3 a.m. in the central portion of the city. The California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, provided funding for the operations.
