FONTANA -- Sheriff's investigators are looking for the man responsible for reportedly stabbing a man outside a Fontana home Saturday evening, officials said.

San Bernardino County Sheriff's deputies and paramedics were called out to a home in the 9500 block of Marcona Avenue in Fontana around 5 p.m., according to initial dispatch reports. The caller reported her former boyfriend had just stabbed her current boyfriend in front of their home. That information could not be confirmed by sheriff's officials.

When authorities arrived they found the stabbing victim with non-life threatening injuries, according to Cindy Bachman, spokeswoman for the sheriff's department. The man was transported to an undisclosed hospital. His condition was not release.

Deputies went searching for the attacker, but as of 7 p.m. Saturday, he had yet to be apprehended.

The case is still under investigation.
