It's official. Lindsay Lohan has lost her last, best friend on the planet.
Attorney Shawn Holley -- the woman responsible for Lindsay Lohan being free to crash cars, drink too much, and punch fortune tellers -- has asked a judge to let her out of Lohan's pending criminal case, according to TMZ.
Lohan, who earlier this month fired Holley on the day her longtime attorney was scheduled to cut yet another deal to keep Lohan out of jail, has signed the documents Holley needs to escape. As it was reported earlier, New York attorney Mark Heller -- who doesn't have a license to practice law in California, where Lohan does most of her damage -- will somehow take Holley's place.
Judge Stephanie Sautner will almost certainly make the change official when Lindsay appears in court Wednesday over accusations she lied to police about her June car accident in Southern California.
But since Heller can't represent Lohan in California, he needs a California lawyer to sponsor him. According to TMZ, there is some confusion over just who will do this, and that Lohan could wind up with no lawyer at the hearing.
Wednesday's hearing could be very interesting.
