A resident was injured in a two-alarm blaze Monday morning in Mountain View.

Mountain View and Palo Alto firefighters put out the blaze at 1639 Spring St. at about 10:45 a.m., according to a Mountain View Fire Department statement.

Multiple people reported the blaze at about 9:25 a.m. Arriving firefighters saw flames appearing from several points of the home. They evacuated the residents quickly; one resident was treated for minor injuries at the scene, according to the fire department.

Investigators are looking into the cause and origin of the blaze; no damage estimate was immediately available.

The home is uninhabitable, and the American Red Cross is assisting the residents, according to the fire department.
