MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif.—Bullying and hazing allegations have gotten a Southern California high school coach suspended.

The action was taken in response to a parent revolt at Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach.

The Daily Breeze of Torrance ( http://bit.ly/X894xU) says varsity baseball coach Cassidy Olson can only have contact with his players during his sixth-period physical education class until the suspension is lifted on March 25.

Principal Ben Dale says Olson cannot be present for games, tournaments or any team activity outside the regular school day.

A group of parents hired a lawyer to look into Olson's coaching tactics in the hopes he will be fired for abusive behavior.

Olson says he simply holds players accountable and some parents don't like it.
