The crash was reported at 7:48 a.m. near the corner of Yorba and Edison avenues.
Both the train and the vehicle were traveling at slow speeds when they collided, said Chino Valley fire spokeswoman Massiel DeGuevara. The train was hauling lumber.
Paramedics took the woman to Chino Valley Medical Center for treatment.
It was unknown if the crash delayed other trains in the area.
