LONG BEACH - Two men were stabbed in downtown Long Beach, a police sergeant said Sunday.

The men in their early 20s appear to have gotten into a gang-related fight at about 11:15 p.m. Saturday at 9th Street and Lime Avenue, said Long Beach police Sgt. David Marander.

"Both were stabbed with superficial wounds," Marander said.

He referred to them as "uncooperative victims," with regard to helping investigators with suspect information.
