Fontana police arrested four people on suspicion of firing guns at a house.

Police received numerous calls of shots fired in the 9800 block of Chantry Avenue in Fontana at 12:20 a.m. Sunday. They found bullet casings in the roadway and discovered a house had been struck by gunfire. There were no reports of anyone wounded in the shooting.

Police stopped the driver of a white Honda Accord who was leaving the area. Police found a loaded AR-15 assault rifle and .22-caliber pistol in the car

. Police arrested Jonathan Lopez, 23, of Ontario, Kenneth Tatum, 27, of West Covina, Cameron Phipps, 20, of Fontana and a teen boy from Moreno Valley.

They were booked into jail on suspicion of attempted homicide, possession of an illegal assault rifle and participating in a gang.
