PLEASANT HILL -- A 37-year-old San Jose woman driving a reportedly stolen car was arrested Wednesday night and charged with identity theft and drug violations, police said.
Alison Terese Hash was driving the car about 10 p.m. on the 1300 block of Contra Costa Boulevard when a Pleasant Hill police officer ran a check on the vehicle. Records showed that the car had been reported stolen to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office. A description of the car was not available.
The Pleasant Hill officer stopped the car and took Hash into custody.
Inside the car, police found numerous credit cards issued to Hash and others, along with receipts for purchases made in several different counties and unidentified narcotics.
Hash was booked into County Jail in Martinez on suspicion of vehicle theft, identify theft, false impersonation, theft of access cards, and possession of controlled substances. She was being held on $100,000 bail.
