LOS ANGELES—Prosecutors have charged two alleged gang members in a fatal shooting outside a Los Angeles church last November, bringing to three the number of people accused in the violent episode. Two of them are women.

The complaint filed Thursday alleges that a man and woman were the shooter and driver of the getaway car in an incident that began with the spray-painting of graffiti on the walls of the Iglesia de Paz church.

Prosecutors say two church members tried to stop a woman from defacing the church when a man jumped out of a car, shot the two men and jumped back into the car that sped away.

All three defendants are charged with one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder and one misdemeanor count of vandalism.
