Inspired by "Beasts of the Southern Wild"
1 1/2 ounces Sam Houston American Whiskey
3/4 ounce green chartreuse
1 ounce coconut cream
1/2 ounce fresh squeezed lime juice
3 basil leaves, divided
Combine the whiskey, chartreuse, coconut cream, lime juice and 2 basil leaves in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and double strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with the last leaf of basil and enjoy!
