A wind advisory for the area expires at noon today, leaving people able to enjoy temperatures in the 70s before temperatures drop 15 to 20 degrees below normal beginning Tuesday, according to Cynthia Palmer, a forecaster with the National Weather Service.
"The real story is the extended forecast," Palmer said. "It's going to be significantly colder Tuesday and Wednesday, and snow levels will be lowering Tuesday night and Wednesday morning as low as 2500 feet."
Rain is also possible in the middle of the week, heavily in some areas, she said.
For Saturday, Accuweather.com predicts a high temperature of 78 and a low of 46. In Ontario, the predicted high is 80 and low is 49.
