Prosecutors told The Sacramento Bee ( http://bit.ly/15tUFna) that David Snyder was released from jail either late Wednesday or early Thursday after family members put up their homes and other properties as collateral for his bail.
The Bee says as part of his release, Snyder is forbidden from going on the grounds of the university without first notifying campus police.
The 32-year-old Snyder has pleaded not guilty to a number of charges after the blast in his campus apartment last month. He is due back in court March 14.
Snyder suffered hand injuries in the blast and dozens of residents were forced from their homes for hours.
