The Long Beach Police Department's Baker to Vegas relay team will receive half the proceeds from food and beverage sales from 5-10 p.m. today at the Veggie Grill, located at the Marketplace shopping center, 6451 Pacific Coast Highway.

Customers can take a flier from lbpolicefoundation.org and mention they are supporting the fundraiser.

In 2012 the Long Beach police team finished third in its category and 15th overall in the 120-mile race from Baker to Las Vegas. Last year more than 5,000 police and military were part of the event. This year's race begins April 13.
