CLAREMONT - Some faculty artists from Pomona College and others will play a free concert at 8 p.m. Saturday Feb.23 to celebrate the 125th birthday of the college.

According to a news release, the Pomona College artists are Genevieve Feiwen Lee on piano and Roger Lebow on cello. Joining the duo will be Teresa Ling on violin and Roland Kato on viola.

The concert will take place at Pomona College's Bridges Hall of Music, 150 E. Fourth St., Claremont.

Gabriel Fauré's Quartet in G Minor, opus 45, will highlight the program because "it shares the 125th anniversary with Pomona College, having been composed in 1887," Lee said in the news release.

Also performed will be Ludwig van Beethoven's Quartet in D Major, which was composed about 100 years before the Fauré quartet, according to the release.
