SANTA CRUZ, Calif.—Santa Cruz County authorities are looking for a woman they hope can help them understand more about the background and social history of a man suspected of killing two police detectives this week.

The Santa Cruz County Sheriff's said Friday that it wants to talk to 28-year-old Terisa Johnson, who also goes by the name Teresa Lamb.

She is not believed to be involved in the murders in any way, but authorities think she may have known Jeremy Goulet. He was killed in a shootout with police Tuesday after he ambushed two police detectives while they were interviewing him about a sexual assault.

Authorities say Johnson was last known to be homeless, living in a campsite in Santa Cruz. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call 831-471-1121.
