Patricie Nash-Davis was among a group of volunteers handing out medals to hand cyclers and runners overall. Nash-Davis had about 15 medals hanging from her left arm and was shaking her hips, causing the medals to clink in unison.

"We're trying to keep our spirits up," she said. "Why not have fun while outside.

"We're also here to cheer the the runners. I like helping people. This is an accomplishment," she said.

"They're doing 26.2 miles. I can't imagine doing that."
