Christopher Batchelor, 40 and Joshua Kemp, 38, were booked into the Central Detention Center in San Bernardino on suspicion of murder, according to booking information.
Paramedics and deputies were called out to a home in the 700 block of Victoria Court around 9 p.m. Wednesday for reports of a fight breaking out between a group of men, according to dispatch reports.
The caller stated several people were involved in a fight on the deck of the home and stated one person was being kicked.
Paramedics found 46-year-old David Quijas lying on the ground injured, sheriff's officials said. He was taken to a hospital where he later died.
While at the scene, deputies detained two men, later identified as Kemp and Batchelor, witnesses reported had attacked Quijas.
Detectives from the sheriffs' Homicide Detail conducted and investigation and subsequently arrested Kemp and Batchelor.
A search of court records shows Kemp has been arrested in the past for driving under the influence, disorderly conduct and various other vehicle code violations. Batchelor's criminal record could not be verified.
