Five people were arrested during sobriety and driver's license checkpoints in San Bernardino and Rialto on Friday night.

San Bernardino's checkpoint occurred in the 700 block of South Inland Center Drive from 6 p.m. Friday to 2 a.m. Saturday.

Of the five people given field sobriety tests, two were arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence, police said.

Police issued 24 citations for various violations, including four for driving on suspended or revoked driver's licenses and 23 for unlicensed drivers.

Rialto police held a checkpoint at 1451 W. Foothill Blvd. and arresting two people on suspicion of DUI and another who had an arrest warrant.

Officers issued 18 citations for driver's license violations, police said.
