The Santa Cruz Sentinel reports ( http://bit.ly/1aOjiMc) that 29-year-old Nathan Anderson was arrested Wednesday morning on suspicion of carjacking, vehicle theft, evading police and other charges.
Santa Cruz County sheriff's deputy Ryan Kennedy says Anderson was spotted Wednesday in a Ford pickup. Anderson fled after being discovered, hitting a California Highway Patrol car.
Later, a sheriff's patrol car intentionally collided with the Anderson's vehicle, after which he fled and tried to carjack another vehicle before officers hit him with a stun gun.
In one suspected carjacking, authorities say Anderson pushed a 53-year-old woman to the ground and stole her 2011 Honda.
