MARTINEZ -- Eight Alhambra High students have qualified to compete at the state's SkillsUSA competition, which showcases career technical skills in automotive technology, cabinet making, architectural design and engineering.
Nick Rezentes, Ian de Vries, Evan Rubio, Megan Lau, Will Anderson, Jordan Morofsky, John Hise and Ryan DeMello are advancing to the state competition next month in San Diego after qualifying at a regional event in Salinas. The students are seeking community donations, along with support from their families and friends, to pay for the trip.
Those interested in donating are invited to send a check to Alhambra High
