PLEASANT HILL — About 570 customers in Pleasant Hill have had no power since shortly after 4:30 p.m. when a car hit a utility pole near Buskirk Avenue and Mayhew Way, according to PG & E.
Initially, 4,830 customers in Pleasant Hill and Walnut Creek had no power, PG&E spokesman J.D. Guidi said. PG&E crews are working to restore power.
As of 11 p.m., Guidi said there were more than 200 homes still without power, but it was expected that power would be restored to those homes before midnight.
