TRACY— Two more people have been arrested in connection with last month's fatal shooting at a downtown Tracy restaurant.
Tracy Police arrested Natalie Elizabeth Martinez, 45, and her daughter Julissa Marie Martinez, 19, last week on suspicion of being accessories after the fact in the Oct. 10 shooting that killed Naim Bey and injured six other people at Amore's Restaurant.
The two women are the mother and sister of another suspect, Johnny Martinez, 24, said Tracy Police Sgt. Tony Sheneman. The women were expected to be arraigned Tuesday afternoon. Sheneman said he could not say what their involvement was.
A total of seven people are now believed to be involved.
Also arrested and charged were Cecilia Colon, 21; Maria de la Luz Martinez; 21; Elvis Mendoza, 28; and Michael Mau, 24.
Mau, of Tracy, faces the most serious charges: one count of murder and six counts of attempted murder in connection with the shooting. All the others have been charged with being accessories after the fact and street terrorism.
Bey, 41, of Tracy, died after being shot in the head when gunfire erupted about 1 a.m., shortly after three people were kicked out of the West 11th Street restaurant, which operates as a nightclub on Friday and Saturday nights.
Everyone injured was inside the restaurant at the time of the shooting, police said.
