Although the Vikings hung around early, the Pride pulled away in the second half behind 244 combined yards (187 rushing, 57 receiving) yards and four scores from Aaron Prier.
Salesian (6-2, BFL 3-0) led by only seven midway through the third quarter at Chabot College, but scores on the ground from Prier, running back Marcial Malic and quarterback Ikaika Woolsey pushed it to 28. At day's end the offensive output totaled 542 yards and a season high in points
The teams traded scores throughout the first half as the Viking's option attack seemed capable of matching the Pride's. Four different rushers from Valley Christian (2-6, BFL 1-2) combined for 187 yards.
Woolsey answered with over 200 though the air as his squad led 35-21
at the break. The Vikings scored the opening touchdown of the third (a 16-yard run by Max Kurth) but Prier fielded the kick and raced 95 yards up the right sideline for the score.
