Improv U is a group of entertainers who specialize in short form improvised comedy that is created "on the spot" by using ideas from the audience. There is no script. The actors have to create characters, locations, actions and dialogue based on suggestions from the audience. The result is pure fun.
Improv U began eight years ago and is now under the direction of Venessa Sanchez. Classes in basic, intermediate and advance improvisation are offered as well as summer improv classes for children in grades one through 12.
Tickets for the show are $10. This show is intended for mature audiences (18 years or older). For more information about Improv U and summer classes, visit www.SanRamonImprovU.com.
