The special two-day event, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, brings together more than 15 animal rescue organizations and animal shelter facilities with the goal of attempting to place 250 homeless pets in new loving homes.
In addition, the County of San Bernardino will inform residents of their participation in the ASPCA Rachel Ray $100,000 Challenge that will start in August 2012.
The weekend event is at the Jerry Lewis Soccer Complex, adjacent to Yucaipa Regional Park, 33900 Oak Glen Road.
Admission and pet health screenings are free. Rabies vaccinations are $6; combination vaccinations are $10; and micro-chipping is $20.
Entertainment and giveaways are from KFRG 95.1 FM; in addition to face painting, pet vendors, giant slide and food and drinks.
